Business College at IH (ihBC), is a division of International House Sydney, one of Australia's most highly regarded VET, English language and Teacher Training Centres. ihBC delivers VET courses in Business, Project Management, Leadership & Management, Social Media and Digital Marketing, Marketing & Communication and Information Technology across 5 States and Territories.
We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic casual/contract Trainer and Assessors to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for delivering engaging face to face training and assessment at our Sydney City campus for the below course:
- CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability)
Who are you?
- An experienced, current, innovative and qualified Trainer and Assessor
- A Trainer who can engage and motivate students by delivering exciting classes and have the ability to deliver training in different study modes
- Highly motivated and wants to be part of an outstanding team of Trainers
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to show initiative and work independently
- Solid understanding of the CHC training package and the Standards for Registered Training Organisation (RTOs) 2015
Essential Criteria
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) or a diploma or higher level qualification in adult education
- CHC33021Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and/or Disability)
- At least 2 years of recent industry experience working in aged care and/or disability care settings.
- Strong knowledge of current industry practices, regulations, and standards.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms and technologies
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining industry currency and the VET sector to inform training and assessment practices.
- Understanding of the ESOS Framework highly regarded but not essential.
